First time back in a while - last time I was here they didn't serve alcohol yet. They were busy on a Saturday night with a lot of people ordering drinks. Inside seating was about half full but they seemed to also be busy with takeout/delivery orders. We saw a lot of cocktails being ordered by those dining in. There was one group dining outside, but was a little too cold for us to do the same. The martinis were delicious and strong. We each ordered a tamale and an order of tacos (the tacos are 2 per order but a very good portion!). I had the pork tamale and it was VERY good! My friend said the birria had great flavor so I definitely want to try that next time. Salmon tacos - great portion of salmon but the salmon itself lacked seasoning so I used a lot of the sauce that was provided on the side. The fish tacos had good flavor but were battered/fried and I usually lean towards grilled instead of fried. Glad I made it back here, definitely would come here again.

Dulce Cultura: To me, you are perfect. Excellent, inventive food at affordable prices. Every time I come here there seems to be some kind of special happening, from bottomless brunches to late night margarita happy hours. I love that their margaritas come in glasses with stems that are shaped like cacti, and that they're $5 during happy hour. I love the hot Cheetos chicken quesadilla, and that someone even thought to dream that combination up in the first place. I love the cheesy mexifries, and how huge the portion of fries are for the price. I love that there are vegetarian options that are actually good and not some bland vegetable dish. I love the desserts, especially the churros. I love the hand painted wall murals. My only constructive criticism is the service, which can be slow at times. I truly hope this place succeeds and am surprised that it hasn't been busier the last few times I've stopped in considering what a great value the food is, especially for the quality and amount of options they offer. It may be off the beaten path for some Astorians, but if you're reading this and haven't stopped by yet consider making the journey. You will absolutely not be disappointed.

Absolutely sublime - Their food is so well seasoned, well balanced, super fresh - I cannot get enough! . They listen to notes! (attentiveness is really not common anymore). Their burritos are amazing, as is everything else on the menu. You can close your eyes, point at something randomly to order and I can guarantee you'll be satisfied. They're always going to be on my rotation moving forward. I'm so happy I found them. Cheers to Dulce Cultura! - a new Astoria staple in my book!

I love the service, the server was amazing to us! Food was delicious and I love how cozy the interior is!

Excellent food. I had the birra quesadilla and it was a generous portion. Their house hot sauce is incredible- try it! The owner was also very kind and asked us to try a new dessert she was testing on the house (it was delicious - hope to see it on the menu!)

I am in absolute love with this place. My brother threw his birthday dinner here with family and friends and it was an blast. The restaurant is not that big but they have a very comfortable layout and day of the dead decorations. All the servers were super nice and attentive. They played a good variety of music in the background. They have jenga on the tables to play while enjoying your food. Every single item of food that I tried was delicious. The nachos were loaded with meat, cheese and other delicious toppings. The shrimp tacos were absolutely delicious; the combination of all the flavors were fantastic. Their steak quesadillas were loaded with steak and cheese. Their drinks were also very good, I only tried their mango margaritas which were a perfect combination of sweet and alcohol. Their prices overall are very reasonable. The owner also let me know that they have happy hour and unlimited tacos and margaritas on certain days. I will be returning to enjoy a brunch. Such a great experience !

A recent find in Astoria, and the Mexican brunch was delicious. I hope to come back again soon! Portions sizes were generous and filling. Everything tasted authentic and delicious. The Tres Leches Pancakes were soft and the perfect sweet dish to balance out the more savory entrees. Pricing was also pretty good for how much food we got! Our waiter was friendly and made sure to check in a few times if we needed anything. I was surprised this gem of a place was not that busy on a Saturday afternoon, but people did start to fill in around 1pm. Comfortable brunch spot with friends, lots of indoor and outdoor seating. A fun time!

**Delivery Review** On the lookout for a new Mexican joint for delivery and this highly rated spot popped up on Seamless. Solid selection of favorites with new variations on them as well. Opted for something different, ordering the Birria Burrito ($12.50) and a side of Guacamole ($2). The burrito is your regular fare but accompanied by a side of consomme. Okay ratio of meat to rice, all of which is seasoned well. The side broth adds another element, which obviously can get messy trying to either dip or pour. Guacamole isn't much, about a thimble's worth, but does add nicely towards the end of the meal. Overall not an overbearing amount of food for a lunchtime meal. Pricepoint here is okay, delivery is quick and packed tight. Plenty of choices here for whatever you're in the mood for.

Welcome to 31st Avenue! They opened when Covid just started and has easily become one of my go to restaurants for Taco Tuesday and Happy Hour in Astoria. They have the best birria quesadillas I've ever tasted hands down. We also had the loaded nachos to start as well as carne asada tacos. Everything was so delicious and their margaritas were on point. Definitely a place worth going to when you're craving Mexican food. We will be back soon Dulce Cultura!
